We are living in the time of tribulation and signs leading us closer to the end times. The signs mentioned in Ahadith books are all appearing day by day very fast. Today, our criteria for choosing relationships are based on materialism; not on piety or good character. Our criteria for friendship or importance is looked upon the size of villas and the model of cars, and the make of our clothes and brands of shoes. Our beloved Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, warned us and informed us about the near end time signs, but we do not care. Signs are appearing very fast like
Earth quakes, fires, pandemics , disunity , Unrest, bless-less money and uncertainty.
Our beloved Prophet, peace be upon him, said: “Islam began as strange, and it will return to being strange as it began, so blessed are the strangers.” He was asked, “Who are the strangers, O Messenger of Allah?” He said: “Those who care about piety when people do not care about piety, righteousness, and do not give importance to goodness.” Ref Abdullah Ben Masood ra.
Imam Ahmad recorded this hadith. This Hadith is also written on the first entrance in Riaz ul Jannah in the mosque of our beloved Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him,
According to Abdullah bin Masoud, may Allah be pleased with him, said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Islam began as strange, and it will return to being strange. And blessed are the strangers. He said: There would be a small number of righteous people among the majority of Muslims who will give importance and practice faith with piety. The majority of Muslims will be lost in materialistic life and just symbolic interest with faith.
Allah سبحانه تعالى gave us the status of the best of Ummah But we forgot our this status. We are affected by fitna – test and tribulations of the time. Our Faith with practice has become unimportant and last priority just a formality. According to the ahadith relating to end time, The focus of the most will be on materialistic worldly matters and pleasures. We have Friday prayers just to finish quickly. Hajj and Umrah have become like a holiday, a big business for hotels and companies organizing Hajj and Umrah. People spend huge money and go there, and their focus is on staying in 5-star hotels and while Tawaf, making selfies, and then taking pictures with the Tall Burj and sharing with everyone. Similarly, while visiting the beloved Prophet’s place, their focus remains on making selfies and recording voice messages right in front of the resting place of our beloved Prophet. No respect for the holy mosque and the beloved Prophet ; when it is written on the door of the Roza e Rasul (pbuh): “Do not raise your voices in front of the beloved Prophet lest your deeds are destroyed and you have no idea.” Current Hajj and Umrah destroys the whole spirit and purpose of it. While Hajj and Umrah’s main purpose was to become faqir – Dervish, all equal, with one kind of dress, two white unstitched sheets to cover, no shoes, no cap on the head, and nothing else to carry. Traveling like slaves and the whole focus to be on the glory of Allah, nothing else. Entering the house of Allah with humbleness and total surrender and submission before Allah as slaves and intoxicated in the love of Allah and start running around the Kaaba without any other thoughts or care, just absorbed in the love of Allah. Where is this happening in the current times? Hajj and umrahs have categories VVIP, VIP and So on. This is a sheer violation of the spirit and purpose of Hajj & Umrah. More and more mosques are being built, but very few go for prayers. Imams and Khatibs and Muezzins are all employees. madrasas just like a business are being opened. They teach artificially without any devotion and real training for good manners and behaviors. Where our beloved Prophet said, ‘I am sent to complete the best manners and behaviors.’ ‘إنما بعثت لمكارم الأخلاق’. Our deen Islam was called ‘الدين هو المعاملة’ – Religion is treatment or transaction.
Another fitna is unqualified self-claimed Islamic preachers. Without having qualifications from any authentic religious institutes or universities, they are giving talks on TVs and other places by using Google as their Sheikh. According to another authentic Hadith, the beloved Prophet warned us from such preachers and other so-called self-claimed scholars. They would be the worst misguided people on earth and will be misguiding. Such scholars with their egos have divided Muslims into groups and issuing fatwas against each other in blatant violation of Allah’s commandment: ‘وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا’. ‘And hold fast to the rope of God all together, and do not be divided.’ This commandment is openly not only violated and disobeyed but calling each other Kafir. Allah and the beloved Prophet said, ‘The Muslim is the brother of the Muslim.’ Mosques are not mosques of Allah anymore, but their religious groups business and political headquarters. We are getting closer day by day to the time of the Antichrist الدجال. We hope and pray for our unity by abandoning our Egos for Allah and get united as one Ummah to receive Imam Mehdi عليه السلام. There will be no choice but to follow him as one Ummah. No more divisions and groups like Sunni, Shia, Wahhabi, all will have to do is to surrender and submit to Allah and beloved prophet Mohammad صل الله عليه و سلم to Imam Mehdi عليه السلام upon his appearance or to be out of the Ummah. The next and final phase will be the unity of all believers in one God الله under Isa عليه السلام. Imam Mehdi عليه السلام will receive Isa Ibn Maryam عليهما السلام upon his descent from the heavens at the minaret upon the grand mosque in Damascus, and then they will unitedly end the Antichrist and establish the kingdom of Allah upon the earth. The best blessed time upon the earth. Let’s get united as one Ummah and leave our petty self-created differences aside. Let’s stand under the flag of truth ‘لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله’ – There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. Let’s make all mosques the house of Allah and not of divided groups. Let’s not waste any more time and realize the critical crisis of the current time and become true believers of Allah, brothers and sisters in the Ummah. Let’s leave our egos and surrender to Allah. Let’s forgive and forget the petty differences for the sake and love of Allah and the beloved Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. May Allah bless us all with the true light and love on the straight path with unity to protect our selves and families from the big coming Fitna of AlDajjal – anti christ فتنة الكبرى
